By-election result won’t influence political direction in State: Musa
KOTA KINABALU:
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman has dismissed a recent claim by DAP Perak Chief Datuk Ngeh Koo Kam that the outcome of the in ending Permatang Pauh b election will influence support and political direction of the Barisan Nasional (BN) in S
abah and Sarawak. Musa, who also heads the Sabah BN, said the BN in Sabah and Sarawak leads a strong Government and comfortable majority in their respective State Legislative Assemblies. “As such, I would like to advise the Chairman of DAP Perak to refrain from making a negative speculation of assumption on the BN in Sabah and awak,” he said in a statement yesterday. Musa said Ngeh should instead focus his attention on the administration of the State Government of Perak. “As it is a fact that the majority of the Perak State Government in its Legislative Assembly is rather slim and will collapse at anytime,” he cautioned.
