According to Masidi, the Government has taken follow-up action following the reports on the detrimental effects resulting from the pig farming activities. The case is now with the State Attorney General for further action and the Government will also be amending certain provisions in its Enactment to ensure that those operating farms will hot violate any laws, he said. He added that reports showed that these pig farm operators had violated the land law and this information was also passed on to the District Office and the Land Office.
